Founded in 1990, China Famen Bearing Co., Ltd. is specialized fag bearing manufacturer and fag bearings distributor of all types of custom and cheap bearings. We obtained ISO9002, ISO14001, and QS9000 certificates in 1995 and 1996, 1999 respectively. Other advanced equipments include four RGB and RCI series heat treatment production lines with a treatment quantity totaling 1,500 kilograms per hour. FAG is showing its revolutionary new design solution to the problem of providing seals in standard angular contact bearings at MACH 2002. The 2RSD bearings enable spindle builders and users to enjoy the cost, life and maintenance-free benefits of grease lubrication. Ready to fit, lubricated for life and maintenance free, they are completely interchangeable with standard non-sealed bearings, but offer up to 5 times the grease life.
Angular contact bearings have for many years been the established rolling element for use in machine tool spindles. The standard configuration for these bearings is to have one outer ring land relieved. Unfortunately, with this design there is insufficient material cross section in which to machine a standard seal recess. Without this the bearing cannot be supplied with seals or shields.

FAG housing and bearing units have been successfully used in machinery, installations, and euipment. This catalogue contains a section from wide spectrum of types and sizes manufactured by FAG.Where other housing types or design variations are required FAG should be consulted. FAG bearing housings are usually made of cast iron. It is possible to use housings of cast steel and spheroidal cast iron. Since the majority of the bearings are grease lubricated and the initial grease fill will last for a long time, most housings can do without lubricating holes. Cast-on flat bosses or markings are provided enabling lubricating holes to be drilled when needed. Generally, the bearing seat in the housing allows axial displacement of the bearing, consequently the bearing acts as a floating bearing. Locating bearing mountings are formed by inserting the locating rings shown in the bearing tables. The locating rings should be ordered separately. Housings without locating rings are available as floating bearing housings (L) or as locating bearing housings (F) The easiest sealing of bearing housings is reached with two-lip seals and felts strips. Both seals are suitable for temperatures upto 100*C. Seals must be specified in the order. It is impossible to enter the complete list of housings with other seals in this cataloque.
