Swapping your stock tensioner pulley for this one only takes a few minutes and a 15 mm. wrench (W-bodies) or T50 Torx socket (G and H-bodies*). There are three basic advantages to this larger tensioner pulley. First, you can run a stock supercharger belt with a 3.20" or 3.40" supercharger pulley on your M90. Second, you can increase belt tension on whatever pulley and belt combination you run. And third, you will effectively increase your supercharger belt's 'wrap' around the supercharger pulley, helping to eliminate belt slippage.
